I run a busy clinical office in Iowa, where I help everyday people overcome challenges and create new lifestyles. I am also a stage hypnotist and a mentalist, and have performed all over North America.
As well I am certified in the area of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), which is an applied science built on linguistics, psychology, and neurophysiology. It is a set of tools and techniques used for personal motivation and leadership development. So working with the mind is my passion.
I was born an empath, which means that I am highly sensitive to other people’s emotions and physical symptoms. I am very in tune to the energy around me, negative and positive. But I have learnt to set boundaries and show compassion for others, rather than taking on their pain. And this enables me to help people deal with their grief as they learn how to heal their hearts.
Are you familiar with the Enneagram? I am an Enneagram 2 – which means I excel at making connections and empathizing the needs and feelings of other people. I am very good at supporting others and helping to bring out their full potential.
I feel, I am living my life’s purpose. And I can help you during this painful time so that you can understand what you are going through and as you learn how to move through sadness and sorrow back into a life that you love again.
I have suffered many losses in my life, and the pain I experienced from these losses was overwhelming. I soon exhausted my friends and family members. I lost my marriage. I found myself alone and no one seem to get it. The world kept spinning round and round faster and faster, and I just wanted to step off of it. I really did. Enter complicated grief.
When you don’t deal with your grief properly, you may fall into complicated grief, a syndrome with distinct symptoms experienced by approximately 10% of bereaved survivors. Emotions are long lasting and severe and you have trouble recovering from your loss and resuming your own life. When I reached this point, I sought help, but was met by people who just did not understand, so I set about healing myself.
Fast forward to August 2019, after attending the wake of a friend who had lost her husband and her dog to an accident that I had a calling. I wanted to help people understand their grief, and more specifically pet loss grief. We live in a grief illiterate society. And pet loss is an area that is even harder to find support in.
Over the years I have had the honor of helping many individuals make lasting changes to their lives using the power of their unconscious minds. I will be using my skill set as a hypnotist and NLP practitioner to teach you how to heal your heart and mind, while giving you skills that you can use for the rest of your life as you continue to heal and find that love and light again.

The loss of a pet can literally cause our hearts to break. The grief you are experiencing can be all-consuming. After all, you never get over it. But through hypnosis, there is a way that you can learn to live with it
In time, with the right skill set, you can learn how to love again. It may not be for a while. But with hypnosis, little by little you can learn skills so that you can once again, live the life you love. After all, it is Ok, to not be Ok.
